About me
I’ve been shooting award winning documentaries, factual series and prime time content for major broadcasters for the last 15 years. Clients include BBC, Disney+, Netflix, ITV x, Channel 4, Prime Video, Sky, PBS, Discovery and many more.
My work as DoP covers a full range of location and studio requirements, including multi-camera interview set ups, actuality and observational filming, presenter led series and travel across the globe, as well as live performance capture and scripted drama reconstruction.
After graduating from Bournemouth Arts Institute (BA Hons Photography and film), I spent my early twenties in production and assisting on location for multiple independent companies before joining the BBC Factual Department in London as a production trainee back in 2008.
I have built up extensive editorial experience and camera credits across a wide range of specialist factual and entertainment formats from single documentaries to landmark series spanning history, arts, science, music, true crime, current affairs and drama reconstruction.
My first major break as DoP came shooting 60 minute specials for BBC One’s flagship series Imagine, with the guidance of the late Alan Yentob. Working closely with the producers and directors, we have gone on to make over ten films together featuring leading high profile artists and cultural figures.
I’ve been shooting observational documentaries and more recently scripted drama reconstructions across all genres ever since.
Our films have gone on to receive global recognition and won multiple awards. Including The Real Mo Farah Winner of the BAFTA award for Best Single Documentary. More awards and nominations listed here.
